I believe Windows 9X/ME as well as NT/2000/XP are insecure
operating systems. I have found that the more I understand
how Windows works, under the surface (win32), the easier
it is for me to secure it. During my investigating and
experimenting with the Win32 API I have discovered some
disturbing things. The best way for me to understand
these disturbing Win32 calls is to write demonstration
programs. The Applications page contains some of the
more interesting and useful demonstration programs. -Pertinax
Recently I have started moving functionality
used inside the applications into dll's. This creates re-usable
components which can be used by anyone wishing to manipulate
Windows.
